dc.description | It is necessary to investigate the earthquake-resistance of existing railway structures against a supposed earthquake in order to implement earthquake-resistant reinforcement. This paper describes the method, of predicting the degree of damage that may be caused by a supposed earthquake based on estimation of the surface earthquake motion.
